Easyweather does not too much with the data, to view the history data of the raw data without doing more with the data apart from the standard variables the stations recordings. If you want more information than the station provides without connected to the pc, I don't think that possible. Of course it might to be possible to use the history file in easyweather to work it out yourself, but it is easier to do with other software like Cumulus to maintain records. Cumulus creates text log files so you use that to export the figures including daily rain for all days in addition to the graphs, today, yesterday, this month and this year. It is useful to know on the daily basis the amount of rain you get as a total like you said, especially with a lot of rain you get. I'm working with a Jaycar XC-0348 (DIGITECH) weather station, but not making much headway on decoding the data. I've been browsing around and find no reference to anyone else doing this, so thought I'd just put the facts out there in case anyone else was doing something similar. Some observations so far: The Practical Arduino code runs under ARDUINO 0023 (not 1.0). I'm seeing several different 'Station ID's ', and think byte 5 may be SENSOR types (the values range through 0x08, 0x09, 0x0A and 0x0B). I've unplugged the Wind and Rain Sensors, so should only get data for Temperature and Humidity to keep it a bit simpler. Looking at the binary dumps, there appears to be no checksum, and the code DOES NOT actually enter 'PacketAndChecksum_OK_WS2355'.

Hi,maybe the sender unit is in the wrong place, it should be on the ground,say a metre high,that way it my give a more accurate readings,and if you have to reset the sender unit, it is a simple matter of taking out a battery or to,waiting then replace the same(although I would press the reset button under the solar charger )then take out batteries of the base unit,wait,then reinstall them,and the same for sender unit. It takes a while for the signal to be picked up by the base unit,but keep trying.
MY QUESTION: Is it possible to configure the XC0348 device to not use a rolling average in the readout and stick to a fixed period? Is there some software to achieve this with? (Doesn't seem to be a setting in Easyweather 6.2 or Cumulus.
