The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory is the fifth studio album by American rapper Tupac Shakur. It was released on November 5, 1996, almost two months after his murder.

I keep thinkin that one visit from Big to Pac in prison wouldve prevented their beef and they wouldve been homeboys continuing to collab on records. (They wouldve ran Hip Hop) But also, just because they had beef doesn’t mean they didn’t still have love for one another.

It was full speed ahead until it was done--as if it was guided or meant to be. Ever since recording like that, without thinking twice like that, I have changed the way I look at making music. A music video for 'To Live & Die in L.A' was shot in July, 1996. It features Shakur working at a fruit stand, driving around in a car filled with women, and also features various scenes and pictures of notable places and events in Los Angeles. It was the first video shot for the album. The album's final single, ' was released, February 11, 1997.

This Chrissy Sumer guy sounds rather well versed in the Illuminati and who or what they might be about. Take a listen to these words. How does he know so much? Someone just happened to find out some info he thinks has to do with Sandy Hook and he puts this song to it?

I stopped reading a bit after the 7 inch thing, which just made me say wow. I am positive that there is no logical argument or thought in the ramblings of the opening post. To the OP: I do not mean this in a bad way, but if you are not currently receiving psychiatric treatment, it may be a good idea to get yourself checked out.

I don’t mean by gangsta because he wasn’t that and he admit that but just the way he put his emotions, his real thoughts, and how he interact with people outside of the hip hop world. Dude had a big heart. He wasn’t perfect though but overall he was a good person who got taken away too early. People forget dude was only 25 so he still had more growing up to do and still trying to find himself also.

Created the word Killuminati by combining the words 'Kill' and 'Illuminati'. Many people speculate that this is Tupac trying to fight against, although IT IS NOT.

Of the Outlawz recalls: 'At the time Hurt-M-Badd, who was just an up-and-coming producer at Death Row, and Darryl Harper, who was an R&B producer - Suge had him working on all the R&B projects - they had a green room up in Can-Am [Studios] which everybody around Death Row called the 'wack room' because they said 'Ain't nothing but wack shit come out of there.' But we was up in the studio one day and we trying to get music done - ain't none of us producers - we see them two niggas in the 'Wack room' and 'Pac like, 'Go get them niggas.' So niggas go bring them, 'Pac just putting niggas to work like, 'I need a beat here, I need y'all to do this, do that.' And these are niggas that nobody at Death Row was fucking with. They'll tell you themselves.' The album was recorded at Can-Am Studios in in 3 days in the month of August 1996.

I listen to the new Outlawz album and dammit they don’t sound that good man. It seem like when Pac was alive they sounded more hungry and way more lyrically.

Pac spoke to the people and he spoke real, about the real world issues that we face, which is exactly why he decided to create the saying Killuminati. If you still are not convinced, SAID IT HIMSELF. 2pac talks about (he did not believe interview proof): /watch?v=xAKfS5lMm68 5.30 - 6.15 We need to realize that the world is full of problems, without us creating fictional ones.

In a negative review from, they commented saying: 'In light of how he died, all the bloodletting seems both preordained and sad. At the same time, Don Killuminati may be seen as Tupac's last grand artistic statement. Quite frankly, the CD is just that good.'

I went home and hooked it up as fast as I could, and I think I came back the same night and he listened to the track three times, and in like 15 minutes he was already done with his lyrics. He went in the booth without telling anyone what the track was about he just laid it in one take--over about three tracks. Then he told Val Young what the concept was, and she went in and laid her chorus vocal in one take, too. After the vocals were done, 'Pac had Ricky Rouse [Makaveli musician] replace my keyboard bass and guitar parts with live bass and guitar parts, and the song was done--less than two hours total. This song just flowed out of everyone that was a part of it. No one thought twice no one doubted anything.

The video also includes an appearance from actress. A unreleased version of the video was leaked some years later, known as 'Toss It Up Beach Version'. 'To Live & Die in L.A, was produced by who was the only outside Death Row producer on the album besides Demetrius Shipp who did 'Toss It Up'. QDIII was one of Shakur's favorite producers.

2Pac recorded The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory in several days during the fall of 1996, shortly before he was gunned down in Las Vegas. It has since acquired a controversial reputation, and is neither the masterpiece its supporters claim nor the violent orgy its detractors allege. 'Hail Mary' is rightly acclaimed as a seminal anthem; also remarkable are battle raps like 'Against All Odds' and 'Bomb First.' Other songs, such as 'Just Like Daddy,' sound rushed and uninspired. While erratic, Don Killuminati was an emphatic final statement from one of the genre's greatest antiheroes.

The only guests present are members of Tupac’s crew, the Outlawz. Most of the beats were crafted by Hurt-M-Badd, an underutilized Death Row R&B producer, and by Tupac himself. The accelerated nature of its recording gives Don Killuminati has an emotional urgency and directness that makes it one of Tupac’s most arresting works. Explosions of anger segue into pleas for peace, and celebrations of the street lifestyle. Amidst all the paranoia and aggression, Pac has premonitions of his own death. “I'm a ghost in these killin’ fields,” he says on “Hail Mary.” No one can be certain that Tupac intended this to be his last will and testament, but there is that aura about this album.

According to Riskie, Death Row Records C.E.O Marion 'Suge' Knight introduced Riskie to Tupac on the set of the California Love (Remix) video shoot in Compton, California.

Plus he never expressed any words against Pac. Maybe he will do a beat or two for some still unreleased material.

Enemies were all around him, so he had to take drastic measures. He took on the Makaveli personality to mark this change and warn his adversaries that he’s become a ruthless adversary. The Songs Among the greatest songs on the album are “,” “Hail Mary,” “Toss It Up,” and “Me and My Girlfriend.” The song “To Live & Die in L.A.” features a relaxed vibe throughout combined with Tupac’s emotional rap that he wrote in about 15 minutes.

He did more at 25 than most did at 55. A_Daramy Yea he was definitely destined to make the realest music up to this date. Makes me wonder if he’ll ever b forgotten. Will it take 100, 200, 300 years? I’m glad he was alive in our generation. Without Pac, I probably wouldn’t have as much faith in hip hop.

RIP to Johnny J! Let me back track a little bit. The “Bomb First” song don’t have the intro where the guy is slandering people like Nas & Jay-Z.

You could put this on and clean your whole house.' Rapper named it one of his favorite albums of all time, he commented on the album saying, 'Collectively, from 'Hail Mary' to 'Krazy' to 'Against All Odds,' it's deep. This album gets better for me as time goes on. Is like that too, but Makaveli is really the one where the older I get, the more of it I get. Every year that I get older, I hear this album differently.

It is his first posthumous release and the only one released under his alternative stage name. It was released through, Makaveli Records,. The album was completed in a total of three days during the first week of August 1996. These are some of the last songs Shakur recorded before his fatal shooting on September 7, 1996. The album was originally scheduled for release in March 1997, but as a result of his death, producer released it four months earlier. The album peaked at number one on the, selling 664,000 copies within its first week.

What is with all the mystery hidden within this CD? 10) In an interview done in August 1996 one month before the Vegas trip Tupac said this in the interview: 'Maybe next month all of this will be over, but this month I'm taking out every living target.' 'I plotted every single step from this to this, everything is plotted I feel like an elected official.' 11) Makaveli The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory ~ Will spell this out: Ok On Tha 7th I'm Dead Yet I'm Really Alive. 12) During the first three seconds of the CD Makaveli The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, the words 'Suge shot me' are spoken very softly. This is very odd and has to mean something? 13) On the song 'Blasphemy' from Makaveli The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, at about 30 seconds when the voice says 'and if the lord does return in the next 7 days.'

You hear Tupac in the background say ' 7 years.' This is clearer than any other line he supposedly says in the the background on the whole cd. 14) Why did Tupac promote the CD with a poster of himself laying his head in his hands and the caption reading ' All you have to do is LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY.' What is that suppose to mean? The entire CD from song 1 to the end tells a story about Tupac's mysterious disappearance.

I'm just saying that i'm sure he recorded all that he had to do in that time, but i doubt the entire project was completed in that time frame. It's a well known fact, refer to the October 2003 issue of XXL Magazine. The entire project was finished in 7 days, it took 3 days for Tupac to write and record the lyrics and it was mixed down in the remaining 4 days. 20:17, 10 January 2007 (UTC) Long comment [ ] Where is the evidence that 2pac said 'shoulda shot me' and not 'suge shot me' at the beginning of the album? Where is the citation? Where is the proof that that is even him, I read somewhere that someone else added it after 'Pac's death.

The final two songs epitomize the conflict that burned in Pac’s soul. “I hope for better days,” he says in “Hold Ya Head.” Then, in “Against All Odds,” he turns around to blast all of his peers, like a kamikaze pilot on a final suicide mission. The album’s final words linger like an uncanny echo: “Now I want war.”.

QDIII told: I was in the studio with 'Pac, I had some records with me, and there was this old song that I played for him to see if he liked the vibe. EDITORS’ NOTES Tupac Shakur’s final album was written and recorded over just seven days in August of 1996. Unlike its predecessor, All Eyez On Me, Don Killuminati is lean and focused.

In 2006, recognized the album as a classic saying, The last album that Tupac recorded while he was alive. He wrote his hardest, his realest and some of his most poignant rhymes ever. The emotion and anger showcased on the album has been admired by a large part of the hip-hop community, including other rappers. 'There are a lot of 2Pac records I like,' said, 'but this is consistent all the way through.
